What this covers

These terms apply to gradientsearch.io. Using the site means accepting them.

Gradient Search is a recruiting business operated by James Arnold.

What this does not cover

Nothing on this site is a contract for recruiting services. Fees, guarantees, and the terms of any search are agreed separately in writing before work begins. If something here conflicts with a signed agreement, the signed agreement wins.

Applying for a role

Applying does not create an obligation on either side. There is no guarantee of a reply within a particular time, of an interview, or of an offer.

Give accurate information. Applications that misrepresent identity, experience, or work authorisation may be removed.

You keep ownership of your résumé and everything in it. You are giving permission to store it and to represent you, per the Privacy page.

Role listings

Listings are kept as accurate as possible but describe roles at other companies, which can change or close without notice. Salary ranges are indicative, not offers.

Content on this site

Text, design, and the Gradient Search name and logo belong to Gradient Search. Client and employer logos belong to those companies and appear to show where placements have been made.

Testimonials are real and published with permission.

Liability

The site is provided as-is. Gradient Search is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it, or from a hiring decision made by anyone else.

Nothing here limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, United States.
